While we do not charge credits for indexing, we have real costs associated with transcribing and processing media. This means uploads, transcription and indexing are subject to a fair use policy to prevent abuse (e.g., archiving thousands of hours of irrelevant video). “Fair use” means 40 hours of processing per month on Researcher plans and 200 hours processing per month on Team plans. 

At the end of your trial, you will be asked to choose a plan and enter your payment details to continue using the Researcher or Team features. If you choose not to, your account will be automatically be moved to the Free plan. You won’t lose your work on your first 3 projects.

Absolutely. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time from your account settings. Upgrades are pro-rated, and downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

We don’t believe in a “Taxi Meter” for thinking. On paid plans, you shouldn’t hesitate to ask a question. Use Standard Chat for 90% of your daily work for free. Save your credits for the heavy lifting.

You’re never blocked. If you exceed your monthly allowance, you seamlessly switch to pay-as-you-go billing starting at 10p (£0.10) per credit. You can set a Spending Cap in your dashboard to ensure you never spend more than you’re authorised for. Subscribing is significantly cheaper (approx 4p/credit), but the flexibility is there if you have a busy month.

Research is a team sport. We believe you shouldn’t be punished for adding stakeholders or junior researchers to a project. The Team plan includes Unlimited Seats, so everyone can access the insights. You simply share the monthly credit pool.
